White tigers are found in Asia. The white tiger is only different from other tigers because of its coloring. The genes of the white tiger cause it to be white. This only happens in one of every 10,000 births. "Oddly, this rare color mutation is only found in the Bengal tiger subspecies in the wild. In captivity, Siberian and Bengal tigers have interbred creating white hybrid tigers."

The baby will born in one hudred three days after mating.The male does not stay and help after mating. The average size of the litter is two or three cubs, with one usually dying. The largest litter may have five cubs.
These tigers can weigh 500 or more pounds. The head and body length of the tiger is anywhere from 4 to 9 feet. The tail can be 3 to 4 feet long. The white tigers have blue eyes. Tigers see great at night. About six times better than a human. No one knows why tigers have stripes. It might be for camouflage. Tigers live about 10 years in the wild and 20 years in captivity. The cubs are born blind and weigh only about 3 pounds. At about 8 weeks they are taught to hunt. They won't kill food for themselves until they are 18 months old.
