Platypi live in Australia. They usually stay in streams and along side of streams. They have a burrow underwater in the streams and sometimes just above the water level. Platypi do not live in other continents naturally.
Next, the way they look. Platypi look quite peculiar. They look like ducks because they have a bill. Also they have webbed feet. One difference in their webbed feet is that the platypi have spurs on their feet. When the platypi hit something with their spurs it inserts poison into whatever it hits.
Another important thing about the platypi is what they eat. Platypi eat many things. One of the things they eat is various insect larvae. A platypus hunts its prey. They hunt by diving to the bottom of the stream staying about forty seconds under water. It swims with its eyes, ears, and nostrils closed.
