Black holes are based upon the theory of a man born in Germany known as Albert Einstein.A black hole is formed when a huge star runs out of nuclear fuel and is crushed by its own gravitational pull. When all of the fuel is gone it cannot support its own wieght. When this happens it occurs in a fraction of a second.
Black Holes are thougt to be a region of space where the gravitational field is so strong that nothing can escape its pull.NOTHING! This includes anything that gets near it, even light. They call it a black hole because it absorbs all the light that hits it and reflects nothing
Our galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy where our solar system is located ,contains millions of black holes. Astronomers have found many black holes in the Milky Way. They find them by tracking movement of a group of stars that orbit a region of space that looks empty. The region or black hole has pair of stars that orbit each other closely called binary stars.
I would not want to get close to any black hole.
